Bro! Always preferred the notch-back Vette and that green is what I would want. The way the blue sky reflects off of that clear is spectacular!

Back in 1970 I bought this car new in LeMans Blue over blue interior L88 4-speed posi, redline tires, with all the options for $8800.00 at Baldwin Chevy in Long Island. Then had Joel Rosen at Motion Performance work the motor to his Motion Phase II specs and painted the white stinger stripe down the L88 high rise hood to the white rear end.

It Seems like The guy was more impressed with the buzzer.
The he was with the entire car. And that is one gorgeous car..

I drive my ‘69 as a daily driver for ten years, in the 80’s. It had the 350/350, two tops, 4-spd, all original . I drove it back and forth from Phila to Ft Lauderdale 10 times . Nothing Ever broke, loved that car

I knew a guy who bought a 69 427 new and in approximately 1978 or 79 he took me for a ride in it.The car's body rattled and shook like it was going to fall apart with us in it.Frankly it felt like a piece of junk it rattled and shook so bad.But that was by far the fastest car I have ever ridden in. And believe me thats saying something my dad was the general manager of the Pontiac-Cadillac dealership in our town. The only car that felt that fast was a ram air 4 Pontiac Firebird he brought home and took me and my younger brother for s ryn run through the gears. That was a very fast car also but it didn't shake or feeling like it was falling apart.

In the last year of high school in 72', my best friend bought the 69' Vette with the 427. A black convertible with dodgy side pipes, but for 2 teenage boys it was frigging awesome, rolling up to school in a Stingray.

He paid dearly to own that magnificent piece of history. 69 427 was one of the best vettes out there .
