Every Honkai Star Rail player might wonder who the BEST Characters to Pull for in Honkai Star Rail are? Today, I go over the top options for all players to consider, some being Ruan Mei, Robin, Feixiao, Potentially Sunday, Fugue, and much more! There has been a lot of debate regarding how good our previous characters are in the current meta, and if they are still worth it. Over time, some characters have gotten stronger due to new team synergies, some being Robin, Ruan Mei, Acheron, and more. This plays a huge part regarding a character's place in the meta.

I ABSOLUTELY recommend fexiao because she made me feel powerful for once (I’m an argentussy main 💜✊)

• Supports: if we're talking about absolute versatility, I'd recommend Ruan Mei in a heartbeat.
• Sustains: either Aventurine or Lingsha, depending on people's preferences between shielders and healers.
• DPS: that becomes a bit too specific. Acheron, Feixiao and Firefly all answer to their own playstyle.

Honestly, you need to pull a good sustain, they are the makers and breakers of your team. The difference I felt when I went from Lynx to Lingsha is between walking and a car. Like, with Lynx it takes Skill points to heal and her ult only heals 1 time, but with Lingsha you not only get another breaker on the team, but you also get the bun which means that the ult from the 4 star Lynx can be replaced twice over with only Lingsha's skill, and then there's her ult where if you play it right, then you get 4 heals in a row along with damage. So, yeah, a good sustain will make your team.

For me I tend to pull for harmony and abundance characters. For damage tho I pulled for Fexiao and Jade and I definitely don’t regret either character!

Lingsha was an impulse pull that I do not regret, especially having her at 160+ speed, since she is always healing while doing damage to multiple enemies very often

My biggest recommendation is aventurine. I feel like having an op sustain is gonna help newer players the most.

I once accidentally beat moc 12 with a lvl70 Gallagher using a S1 level 1 lightcone 😂, while I was just trying my new FF break team.
Since then I become in love with Break team.

Support: Either Ruan Mei or Robin. RM if you're leaning into the break playstyle or Robin if you lean into crit DPSes.

Sustain: Aventurine. Bro will never let you die and he does good damage at the same time.

DPS: For new/F2P players, Firefly. She's incredibly easy to build, easy to play, and her BiS support is a free character (Harmony Trailblazer). BiS sustain is also borderline free, Gallagher.

I would always pull supports and never dps chars because I thought that more supports would make my seele viable 💀💀I decided to pull for Feixiao last version and it was the bEST CHOICE I’ve ever made, her damage is insane

Characters I recommend pulling -

Aventurine - best shielder in game

Ruan mei - I f u play break alot but also in general she's good

Robin - is a really good support (although I don't like her personally I won't deny she's definitely one of the best supports)


There's probably more but those three are off the top of my head

Build a new account for a few months this year since Aventurines banner. The account is better than my original account bc I pulled reasonable characters that work off of one another. I even completed the Forgotten Hall with 36 stars lately.
Aventurine, Robin, Feixiao are my must-have recommendations. Followup Teams are amazing, if you get Himeko or Clara from the standard banner or beginner banner you‘re good to go. Hunt March is synergizing amazingly with Feixiao or Clara. Aventurine will be grateful for many FU attacks. Robin loves a FU team, too, and also is an amazing support for any characters, just boosting dmg and getting more attacks by round with her burst.
Ruan Mei is nice to have.
