This is nonsense, this reminds me of the pickup truck debacle, Japan developed a cheap, extremely reliable pickup, the american car manufacturers panicked and pushed the us government to basically ban it in the US, the american citizens have been waiting for the american version of that truck but instead they got an fuel-devouring, ridiculously expensive, enormous trucks that weren't designed for work. The United States Imports more stuff from China than Chinese imports from the United states. Whatever tariffs are placed on Chinese Goods can easily be duplicated will China doing that on Western goods sold in China.

If Biden puts 100% tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles, all China has to do is put tariffs on Western cars and that'll be the end of BMW Mercedes and Ford. Everyone in China will be buying Chinese cars and that would be good for their growing car economy in china, but that won't be good for Germany or the West because they also want to sell their cars in china. So Joe Biden's plan is going to backfire

Talking about government subsidy and breach of free trade, there are hundreds of channels accusing China of these practices, but hardly anyone mentions that the US utilizes the most powerful subsidies of all countries to subsidize its own hegemony, i.e. world reliance on the US Dollar, long arm jurisdiction in international trade, and a global military presence to coerce anyone who doesn't abide by the rules it makes.
