If anyone ever tells you that you’re not the center of the universe, remind them that the observable universe is centered around you!

0:54 I'm more amazed by how her hand can generate her name out.

I love her confidence when she says other being are looking up at the universe as well. Like she's that sure we're not alone.

These curiosities make me more interested to become an Astrophysicist in the future🌌

Just when we know the answer, the Universe changes the question.

To understand the universe we have to understand how our brains work first. Reality is just a subjective view of our human senses and doesn’t necessarily represent the objective. Understanding why we perceive the reality the way we do will probably be a bigger achievement than understanding the universe itself

I wish i was that smart to understand all of this. Cosmos really amazes me and mystery of the Universe. It's so vast and my brain cant comprehend and no imagination will ever be

Simple reason why it's 30+ billion lightyears away: The Universe may just be older than what most humans think.

Interesting thing to remember next time you see stars in the Night ... *You're actually staring into the Past when you see them !!* Simply because of the fact that the Sun's light takes 8 mins to reach us, so imagine how much time it takes for Light (photons) of stars, Thousands or Millions or even Billions of Light years away, to reach our Retina ! Mind=Blown !!!

If one believes that our universe is holographic, that's what really blows my mind, because all of this universe is in our heads being projected out for us to experience.

Also it's like, you can't go to the edge until the edge is brought into existence!!

When you feel like you will leave this world without leaving a mark, know that on a universal scale nobody really ever does.

In logic, there are two purposes of making an assumption: to prove a contradiction or introduce a conditional. Astronomers assume the universe began.

I was always confused about how the universe and spacetime could be flat but also 3d but I finally realised it's only flat from the perspective of the direction the big bang sent you.So the big bang was like a huge tidal wave blasting in 3d but it's where you are on what layer sheet that is flat.Maybe million of sheets but that's why it's flat when we observe nearby objects ejected on the same sheet. It all can be traced back to the direction of the big bang to see what sheet of spacetime you're on.

Awesome Video explaining why it's harder for us to see the Galaxies further and further beyond some of these oldest ones ! Speed of Light always fascinates me but it's still too slow to travel anywhere comfortably knowing it takes Millions and Billions of years for the photons to reach us...
