Sens unveil new jerseys

The Ottawa Senators have unveiled its new jerseys as they go back to the famous 2D era.

These jerseys are perfect, aside from the white one not having black on the bottom half of the sleeves, like the original. But that's just a nitpick :)

A change at least 7 years too late. That Reebok template was never a great jersey and the fact that they carried it over to Addidas seemed lazy to me. That Reebok look didn't mesh well with Addidas' stitching and the block font didn't fit at all either, overall, I'm elated at this. The bottom of the away sleeves could have been black but that's really just a nitpick, this is an excellent look, a trip back to the basics that the team needed to make. Personally, I don't like the "O" jersey and I was scared they would go with that look, as it got a pretty high amount of push from fans. Overall, I'm very happy with this, a lot of teams that revert to old looks I just think it's lazy and uncreative, but I feel much the opposite way for this one. Partially because it's just a really good look, and partially because it's been YEARS coming.
