Caution—-All grain stored in buckets must be low moisture. LDS guide recommends 10%. Feed corn is bagged at 15% moisture. This will rot long term. Must be dried before going into the bucket. DO NOT rely on moisture absorbers to lower 15% to 10%. Dry the grain and measure moisture. I have heard of corn buckets exploding from moisture rot.

B has a dye added to the plastic that is not  This alone will prevent the FDA from approving it as . And sometimes the  manufacturer uses recycled HDPE. These  also are not .

If you have a local Firehouse subs they sell buckets for $2 and proceeds go towards local firefighters. Otherwise many local restaurants will give you buckets.

There are two "basic" types of wheat:- Hard and soft. Besides hard wheat being harder (really?) it is also higher% protein, usually around 12% and makes good bread. Soft wheat is around 8% and is way cheaper, and is easier to grind finer and better for cakes. NB. soft wheat, being easier to chew, is also usually the 'animal fodder' kind. All purpose flour is a mixture of both types and the % protein changes. The rule of thumb is lower % the further south, higher % the further north. In Canada our all purpose flour is around 11%, the same as many American bread flours (all hard wheat). Try to store hard wheat if you want to make bread. Amen brother

Where do you purchase your mlar bags from ? I just received mine and they are folded. I plan on using them for salt and sugar. I am new to putting up food. Thank you for sharing your experience and wisdom.

Wheat and beans are often sprayed with RoundUp at the end of season. Go organic.
