Well at least for Z we got Kai in 2009. Which fixed the pacing and removed the filler of OG Z while still keeping the basic style the same. Though we did get some redraws here and there. Still waiting on that for OG Dragon Ball though. It desperately needs it tbh

I think the reason that Fishman island is getting reanimated is because its the first arc post time skip, so I think that maybe they will do the same with arcs that come after Fishman island

One piece should be getting the dbz kai treatment which it needs because it had the same issues DBZ did with the anime catching up to the manga constantly. Us older fans remember waiting two weeks for Goku and freeza to finally throw a punch between flashbacks.
