Mustang ALMOST WRECKS then sets World Record!

The guys at Rarefab built one serious Mustang for CT Shop(owner: James Kakaletris). Running an MPR built engine, Armageddon Twin Turbo Kit, and tuned by Ken at Palm Beach Dyno this Mustang set the record for quickest and fastest Mustang running a factory transmission(6r80), making this the first factory trans mustang into the 7's in the 1/4 mile!

anybody know why the throttle stuck? I know stock they are drive by wire. but it says the engine is built so did they ditch the setup for cable actuated throttle?

The reason he stayed in it after he spun was by design. Had he hit the brakes he would have probably hit that wall. When in doubt, flat out FTW!

Factory transmission doesn't mean the transmission is untouched and bone stock, it just means that it's still using a 6R80 in it instead of a Glide or TH400 being swapped into it. This car would still have decent manners on the street because of the 6R80, glides and TH400s are HORRIBLE on the street even with a gear vendors OD.
