My first bike that had brakes was a rim brake bike, and I plan on sticking with it because I've learned to use them so well

Just scrolling through and Durianrider was the first thing to pop into me head when watching it. Looked down and surprise surprise, it was the man himself 😂😂

Put the lever down on the right hand side of the brakes. It's only meant to be open to take the wheel out. Brakes should be set up with the lever down/closed

Beautiful indeed!💜 Add direct mount and you got perfection, but not nessesary. I had no trouble comming down from steepest mountains in nothern Thailand, even in rain with my shimano rim brakes both allow and carbon rims!🙏🏻

Rims brakes is the way to go. Disc brakes ruined the look and the aerodynamic of the bicycles. Disc brakes is the biggest marketing scam in the history of bicycles.

Wondering should I go with 140 mm or 160mm rotors? Nope, I'll stick with 700mm thanks all the same.

Try living in a country that rains all the time. I have a rim brake road bike and a disc brake gravel bike. Of all the factors, the most significant one is that rim brakes do not work in the wet. Simple.
