Sam reliving the conversations he’s had mentoring some of the young greats was among the best content I've seen from this pod

I went and checked Olajuwon's stats. The season opener wasn't against the GSW but the Nets (GSW was the 3rd game of the season). But Olajuwon put up a 5x5 statline in the opener! 24 pts 19 reb 6 ast 5 stl 5 blk. 👀👀

Sam Cassell should be a head coach, he will be great. But glad to have him until then.

I’ve been admiring and enjoying Sam since his days at Florida St. I was so excited when he was here in Philly on Doc’s staff. Sam should have BEEN a head coach. Always wishing him the best.

Name all the elite Centers post Wilt & Bill Russell, Hakeem has made a fool out them from Kareem, Shaq, Ewing & David Robinson. All of them.

Goodness Draymond, did you see Shaq's numbers in 1995? Do you know that Shaq played with Penny, Kobe, Wade, LeBron, KG, other all stars? How many all stars did Hakeem Olajuwon play with? An old Clyde Drexler in 1995 in Dream's 11th year. Don't come at us with out of context ring numbers.

26:08 i never realized he played such a crucial role in unlocking the confidence in some many of the most elite guards in league.

Man glad you still coaching, I have no idea how many you have won. Congratulations on another ring if you were still working in Boston

Hakeem never played with a Kobe or D Wade. Hakeem easily gets 2-3 more rings if he played with as many elite guards as Shaq

I’ll always have love for Sam. I remember being a kid in Houston and cutting pics out the chronicle of him and Robert Horry and putting them on my binder.

Knew Dray was one of them weird ones who was gonna downplay Dream. Dream is the goat defender and the most skilled big ever. Dream beat the showtime Lakers in his second year. He ain't never had Kobe or penny or DWade and dominated during the center golden era
