Rigging Aerial Silks with Two Colors

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Rig with an instructor! improper rigging could lead to death or serious injury!! Drops and tricks on aerial silks/hammock are dangerous!! This is NOT meant to be a complete tutorial of how to perform these moves safely! This is meant as a refresher for those who have trained with an instructor. Always practice under the direct supervision of an experienced and certified aerial instructor. There is a lot more to these wraps than you can see on a video. There is potential to get seriously injured or killed if you wrap incorrectly or do not execute the drops/poses properly! I'm sure that's secure enough because you've used it many times with no problem, but traditionally and more securely,

after you do the first step of pulling both silks through the center big hole then down between the tails then behind the rescue 8,

**it should pass through the back side of same hole it went through the first time, (yes 4 total segments of fabric squeezed through that bottom hole) then come out toward you to the front, **

then loop it up over the top which was your 2nd step but should be the 3rd step. Then secure the carabiner.

How many yards is each silk? And how many yards from the top are you lining up the figure 8?
