I think it’s great that Demi Moore uses her platform to shed light on the subject of dementia. It’s a dark arena with very few people stepping up to deal with it. My wife’s mother battled dementia, and she was a very tough personality before getting diagnosed with dementia. Memory care is extremely expensive, so we tried our best to deal with it, thankfully my wife didn’t have to go to a job during that time because it became her full time labor of love and believe me she had to dig deep! Different people handle it different ways lest we forget, it is a progressive illness. In this dark arena where few gather, I think it’s great to see Demi Moore use her platform to shed light on the struggles of Dementia.
