Physics, Kinematics (3 of 7) 1 D Horizontal Motion, Solve for Acceleration, No. 2

preview_player
Показать описание
Shows you how to use the kinematic equations to solve for the acceleration of an object. Includes two worked examples.

Kinematics is the study of motion without considering the forces that are acting on the object. The factors that can be determined using kinematics are initial and final velocity, acceleration, change in position and the time.

This is so helpful to see it broken down like this. The examples and repetition really help! Thank you!

Goid work, appreciate your insistent repetition on how to arrange your given data
Abd the way to choose the right formula. Using different color prints is extremely useful to separate information.
CAN YOU PLEASE EXTEND IN THE SUBJECT AND GIVE MORE COMPLEX PRIBLEMS ( E.G. TWO VEHICLES APPROACHING; OR ONE VEHICLE CHASING AND ANOTHER ETC.)

So how do you know to use 2 times the distance in that last one? Because 2 times the distance is part of another equation? A known equation if you will?

i love this guy's videos because they're so helpful, but i can't figure out how you rearrange the equations to find acceleration. anybody know how to rearrange it? i can't ever figure it out and that's what's holding me back

Why do you multiply by 2. I understand you need to rearrange the equation but what is the theory behind that

Can you please work this equation in a video?

Maria throws an apple vertically upward from a height of 1.3 m with an initial velocity of +2.4 m/s.

a. Will the apple reach a friend in a treehouse 5.3 m above the ground?

b. If the apple is not caught, how long will the apple be in the air before it hits the ground?
