I think that Switch reveal was our first indication we were even getting a Splatoon 2. Even then, most people thought it was a port like MK8DX despite us who played the crap out of Splatoon 1 could spot new things (like how inklings looked popping into the stage) frame one.

Honestly, I want another blink and you miss it reveal like that for a game or two again.

If they dont show any new games in the trailer, it would be an objectively bad advertisement. If they just show old switch games the average customer will just think "Oh I already have a switch I dont need this." I know nintendo knows that so I guarantee we'll see some new games
