My Father was a Vietnam Vet. When Ali lost to Frazier...Dad shouted "The Louisville Lip is SHUT!!" He resented Ali not going into the service. Years later we were watching a thing on Ali on TV and Dad looked at me...obviously remembering what he had said over those years to me culminating in "The Lip is shut" and he said- "I was wrong and he was right." That was all he had to say.
