I was apolitical growing up and as a young adult in Minnesota, but still a liberal by default, so to speak. Jesse was the one who woke me up when he ran for and became governor. Since then I've met and worked with Mr. Ventura on two separate occasions. He is a man of honor and integrity and is everything he exemplifies in his interviews. When you can have a casual and honest conversation– even in passing– with someone you relate with, you can shake a man's hand and look one another in the eye and know exactly who you are dealing with. I pray that we can all take something from Mr. Ventura out into this world today and do what is right to restore the once sacred ideals of the American spirit for our children and a hopeful future.
