I’ve also used side-chained dynamic EQs to fix frequency collisions, but this method is bang on useful, and generally easier to implement. Great video — thanks much, Andrew!

Just tripped into your channel and watched this and your video on EQ sidechain. I have been involved with recording for over 40 years and you taught me some new tricks! Perhaps you could expand on those two videos by doing a video on scenarios to apply selective EQ to a track and when to duck it.

Use Adapter AB, it's amazing for listening to specific frequency bands and comparing them to reference tracks. It goes on sale.

Very useful video ! Also consider to change slightly the lights at your videos, your face shines a bit more, and maybe put a small hiden light at the background . Of course it's a matter of taste .
