Thank you for the clear and direct method of data transfer from Android to Android. Following your instructions made the task so easy and without anxiety of "losing" anything. My transfer was from a HTC M8 to an Oppo Reno 5g (quite a jump in technology!) If i can suggest something it would only be to advise that if you have an app like Stocard, ensure you have registered your account with all your cards within stocard app, before you transfer your data from phone to phone.

I tried using SMS Backup & Restore app earlier, but the imported messages were (tagged and) grouped as "Messages from unknown sources." Well, we don't want that, do we? Hahaha

Thanks man, i was having a bit of a mare with this . And i also had another one while trying to follow your instructions, but it was only because although i'd allowed my settings permissions . ii hadn't fully opened all my permissions . Once i'd NOTjust jumped ahead and stopped being a typical bloke and not really listened to the bit about opening all permissions . Once i did that it couldn't have been easier . anyway, thx a bunch pal . GL with all you do :}
