Can someone wake the elephant in the room, and ask about the ethnic backgrounds of these arrested? The serious gang culture across the country sees black on black deaths soar every year. It's simply not good enough. I've been to the carnival many years ago, had a great time, and saw no trouble. But if people are going to turn up to battle about turf wars, postcodes, drugs and ego's, then i can't see it getting any better ever.

34 officers injured, one person dead, almost 50 knife injuries and over 200 arrests in a "mostly peaceful" event. I wonder how they would describe what is happening in Ukraine: a minor altercation?
