Creativity is a state of being where time doesn't exist, as a matter a fact nothing exists but that feeling you get when your painting something or playing an instrument. You know, that feeling of being lifted out of your body. Just floating, levitating. Its a rush of energy igniting every molecule and fiber that makes up of our being. But also extends out, touching other souls. Like a big musical bubble that keeps growing.

He didnt ruin anything. What hes saying is to Be humble that what we create is us but doesnt necessarily belong to us. Its a flow of something greater than ourselves, something being channeled through our finger tips. Something we cannot put into words, but can only express in art, in wonderment. A long time ago I use to draw, I drew very well for at my age, my family noticed it and had me doing it everyday from then on till around the age of 15 when I finally said I was *bored* of it. Doing portraits gets boring after you can confidently say you have at least done 500 of them. After I stopped doing the portraits I changed my pace and started doing more creative and abstract art, I love doing it like that because I never know what the end of the page will look like. I believe you have just inspired me to pick up the pencil again and start trying for something more then just a pretty picture... I want something inspirational in my own sense.

i find that creative genious is given in not only experience but also perception. The perception of the being that can create it is a beautiful thing. For some, a bland thing may be beautiful; and to show the beauty in the thing the general populace finds bland or normal is creative genious.
