Hi Dr. Sarveshwar, thank you so much for the informative video. I want to kindly as if "ovtest" works for panel data? If not, what's the alternative command for it?

so ive got F(3, 157) = 10.78 and prob > F = 0.0000
So does this mean I have rejected the null and should include a higher order version of one of my variables in my model?

I have F(3, 229) = 3.05
and Prob > F = 0.0293
What does it mean?

ATTENTION: THIS ANSWER IS WRONG.

The P-Value 0.28 > 0.05 significance level so we REJECT the null hypothesis that the model has so omitted variables. We conclude the alternative hypothesis that the model suffers from functional form mis-specification.

An easy mistake to make. You said that P-value 0.28 > 0.5 significance level ...however this is a 50% significance level!! You need to compare it to 0.05 which is the 5% significance level. 0.28 is indeed greater than 0.05 significance level to REJECT NULL
