I dont even remember the first time I tried it, Ive been eating this since I was a kid and I absolutely love it, I cant compare its taste to anything else, it just tastes unique to me

It really depends on quality of the durians. Some of that bad quality smell like shit but the good one is actually quite good tho.

So sorry you had to experience that, but loved that you guys finally took a stab since it's been peeking on other vids for a long time. My wife is chinese and her family absolutely loves it, but I may be the only person in existence that thinks it's just ok. The texture is a little weird to me, and the flavor is decent but not one I really crave. My taste buds may just be shot though from years of me putting more condiment than food on things

i think the scent is a lot more closer to gasoline for some reason, but it taste soooo much better and tame when it’s frozen

durian is a taste adaptation food where you eat it multiple times where eventually if you eat it enough times the bad taste will be ignored letting your taste buds taste other aspects of the food

For me it actually tastes really good, had some in the states then had some in asia. The stuff in asia is a lot better than in the states.
