Jaime Beck teaches German to refugees - even though his own German isn't perfect. Why are his classes always full? His students say it's because when he talks it sounds like a song and because Jaime teaches them so much more than just the language.

For anyone learning a new language, it's easy to get frustrated after the first few lessons. But Jaime Beck from Colombia knows how to keep his students coming. His lessons for refugees cover much more than just dry vocabulary and grammar rules; he delves into "street German" as well. The issue is not about migrants or 'refugees' who need the help. It is about the mass migration of mostly men who do not wish to immirgrate. Germany has no problem with the mothers and children who wish to make a new life happen. The problem is that so many people (young men) do not wish to immigrate. But having said that, as an immigrant to Germany myself, it is difficult. It takes time to learn the language. It takes time to learn a new culture. I have been here almost 2 years, and it takes time. Give it time, and restrict the massive flow.
