I think the administration is missing the point that oil and gas is produced much environmentally cleaner in the US than anywhere else in the world. The focus seems to be only on carbon emissions and climate change. If we buy oil from other countries that does not reduce the carbon emissions but increases the environmental damage in the world from the oil production in those countries.

No one is gonna be able to afford to go to work! A car with a small gas tank of 10 gallons, could cost $100 to fill up if they talk about gas going up to $10 a gallon with this ban.
