Dipped my toe in the analogue world and due to watching your channel Phil Just purchased the Rega 6 Planar with Ania Pro(Polaris, its Australian package naming), also the Rega fono mc mk4 preamp, couldn't be happier. I wanted the white but the package only came in the grey here in Australia. Keep up the great work Phil

Got a P6 with an ND5 inbound this week so this video is a great help when it comes to me putting it together - and a great reminder to double check with the dealer who was going to send it down by courier with the counter weight already in place. I don't think they are used to customers assembling it on their own...

Really love if rega make new color like dark purple color… so it is like the black ine but there is slightly blue purple… it is gonna be nice

Always a treat to see a new Rega in the flesh. Quite handsome in white too and did they make the glass platter less “shady”, more see through than on the grey original?

Can you show us the cables that plug into the amplifier?

I think this is incorrect. If you don’t get the mass correct to near the vinyl surface your added stylus weight will be significantly out. So essentially your stylus mass will be less than it should be.
To test this when you have balanced it like you have. If you add a small mass to the knob where you add the weight that is required by the stylus does it go down much. ??
Or is the difference negotiable
