Back to vinyl... Rega Planar 6 unboxing (a deeper look)

I always miss the time when I was listening to vinyl many years ago. Finally I have the chance to get back to it and got myself a more “completed” solution. Rega Planar 6. A deeper look? I like to do DIY too. So any idea what is the weight of the main platter? Sub-platter? Glass platter, does it resonate more lively than others? Unboxing and discover more. Listening and usage experience review will be post after a month of run-in and use.

Thanks for the teardown footage. I acquired a P6 a couple days ago and was surprised that a loud pop could be heard through my system nearly every time I turn the PSU off. This indicates the power switch is arcing due to inductive flyback from the wall transformer. What's odd is you can plainly see at 23:37 that the PCB was designed with a snubber circuit for the switch (C53 & R70) but it was left unpopulated...I'd really love to know why.
My solution to eliminate the pop was to build an in-line dongle that connects between the wall adapter and the power input of the PSU which installs a 100 ohm .1uF snubber cap in parallel with the AC supply.
