Would you believe me if I told you that Warren Buffet pays less tax than his secretary? You may wonder how a billionaire pays fewer taxes than an average income earning secretary and the answer is that there are two kinds of taxpayers: those who accept taxes as a natural part of life and pay whatever the government tells them to and there are others who do everything in their power to avoid paying taxes. Let’s give each of these types of people a name. We will call the willful taxpayer Paul and the tax avoider Jack.

When Romney said 47% of Americans aren't affected by taxes it was spot on. 47% of Americans do pay small FICA throughout the year and are between 20-80% LESS than what they receive from their tax return. Simply put, just under half of the US pay less than 0% in tax. I'm a shareholder in XOM and that company EVEN AFTER WRITE-DOWNS contributes hundreds of millions weekly in taxes
