Great video. My Rubicon4xe was delivered in May of 2020 and We are extremely happy with it, on and off the road. I love the torque of the 4xe. You will learn to drive the Jeep with the Max Regen ON and save your brakes. I bet I can get four times the mileage from these brake pads. I use the e-save mode to get to the trail. When I need extra torque for an obstacle, whether in 4H or 4L, no matter what mode you are in, pull the shifter over to M and the engine will come on. You now have the engine AND the electric motor torque available to tackle the obstacle and it is like no other Jeep. Instant torque, with little or no engine throttle. A totally new feeling, pretty awesome.

That is definitely a colour! I think I quite like it.
Nice to see load rating getting a mention. I have seen people caught out on that. Most recently a Jaguar XF with a tyre that was too big for the spare wheel well. A shop had installed a high load SUV tyre. It was about an inch taller overall.

Hey great video. So Im kinda new to jeep. I have a 2021 4xe.i have seen people say to replace the drive shaft when lifting the jeep 4xe. Should this be done or is the stock one fine?

I have a 2019, V6 JLUR with the Mopar lift. You are totally right, it does ride a little bit stiffer but overall it’s just like factory. I did have some steering gearbox issues that were covered under warranty without any argument by the dealer just because they installed the Mopar lift.
I just ordered a new 2022 4XE Rubicon, and plan to do the same thing but had the same questions about power and economy.
Also, when I got my Lyft they said I had to get aftermarket wheels so the tires would not rub on the inner fenders. I noticed you kept the same wheels, has that been an issue?

Did you have the ratios to accommodate the 35s ?

Hey Tyler, thanks for the informative video on the Jeep, I didn't realize that tires can make such a big difference!!! I'm also fascinated with electric & hybrid vehicles as I believe the internal combustion engine will be obsolete in the not so distant future!!! Yes, the color is an interesting choice for a Jeep, it reminds me of a Barbie vehicle!!! 🙄

I’m about to order one. I drive 10 miles to work and back. Chargers at work and ready for this. Lol. Great video! Thanks

Using the 35s on stock rims did you experience any rubbing with the steering wheel turned all the way right or left?

@Tyler I have to ask, what is the part for the tailgate hinge/reinforcement? And do you need it for 35s?

Thanks!

How long does it typically take you to just install the 2in lift on a newer build like this?

Tyler, your videos are the best. Question: if I wanna go for different wheels than the stock ones on a Rubicon, would you then go for higher wheels (maybe 20s) or not? And within a 2 inches lift, will a 20 inch wheels and 35 inch fit?

Is it necessary to remove the front of the bumper with the larger tire on the 2" lift. What about the axle? To you need to replace it on the 2" lift? I've heard it is required on the 3"+ lifts.

If you jump up to 37”s what other things would be required?

Do you need to edit the tire size inside the onboard computer?

Another awesome video! Love the one day build on the 4xE and it looks fantastic! I'm excited to get the Mopar lift installed this weekend. For someone who has personally installed a ton of Mopar lifts, do you feel a larger track bar or steering stabilizer is necessary or recommended? Many people on forums have suggested that in order to keep the front axle aligned after the lift, a new heavier and adjustable track bar is recommended. And that a new Mopar FOX steering stabilizer is recommended for the new heavier tires. I appreciate your thoughts on the subject.

Love your videos question, I have a stock 2022 jk, I have a 2.5in lift and want to add 35in tires asap! Some people say I need wheel spacers others say no, Do you think it would have rubbing?

Do u know if this lift increases payload capacity? I think the stock rubicon 4xE has a payload capacity of around 850lbs? Really needing this number to be bigger and I heard lifting helps. TIA!

Love it! Thanks for sharing. I’m in the process of planning my Mopar /Fox lift with 35”s or should I say 315/70/17s - great tip, btw! QQ - you add the tires to the stock rims on this vehicle. On a JLU 2.0 rubicon, any issues with using the stock rims? I’ve heard mixed opinions on this topic. I really like the stock rims so would prefer to use them if I can. Thank you!
