Tim Holtz Scissors Review and Cleaning tip

So at the end of the day, I think these scissors are great BUT having no anti- stick coating in it is a big Con.
I invested in these scissors to cut out stamped images, and for this they definetely work.

With these scissors the trick to no marks is flipping to opposite side. Face the writing away from you and it will not leave this mark. The scissors are made to cut both ways I like other scissors thats blades lay on top of one another .hope that helps

When you cut and if you don't want the serrated edge to show just turn them around and then you get a straight cut.

Just use some Goo gone and that takes care of anything sticky anything at all and you only need a little dab on a piece of cotton ball.

Try "Sticky stuff remover, it will come off like a dream.

You might prefer to clean your scissors with rubbing alcohol.

Wanna know if there’s any kind of guarantee on the scissors I have I believe are the middle size and they won’t cut anymore and I haven’t caught anything unusual. I did try to sharpen them after they quit using and after I clean them good

Hey there.. You totally hit on why I dont like these scissors but I've invested in them already. Yes, when you cut you get that toothmarked edge. I hate that. I am wondering if there are another pair that dont have that that I should have got instead. BUT, I found my old favorite small scissors that I wouldnt trade for anything.. so I lucked out. I just use these for cutting foam, etc. They stay away from projects :) Great review. I concur.
