Oh boy oh boy… I used to be involved in deliverance ministry, I’ve heard and done all Dawn is sharing!
Our leader got gravely ill. His wife called “ deliverance ministers” to the hospital, four of them! The chaos was stunning! The doctors were rolling their eyes, and asked me to help, they needed to get to the bedside of the patient.
He died two days later! His widow called me and sobbing she said:”we didn’t do enough deliverance on him, Satan took him, he shouldn’t have died!” This took my own scales off, I asked God to help me… then I said: “ well, if that’s what you believe, God has made his first mistake, he must not be sovereign!” Silence followed by repentant tears! That sister distanced herself from all her friends in the deliverance ministry, and God’s grace and power is evident in her life today!

Coming out of New Age and occult I absolutely needed deliverance and have been set free. This has helped me TREMENDOUSLY! I also had to change my lifestyle. I had a lot of demons from this lifestyle. Thank you Jesus!

This is exactly why I just simply follow Christ. I'd rather be taught by the Word than be distracted with religious issues within the body. It's more peaceful and fruitful that way. Just Jesus and me with the help of His Holy Spirit. I believe whomever the Son set free is free indeed. There is no way to cast out demons other than through Jesus. He sets us free. He delivers us. When we walk in obedience to the Word, we become changed from within. Demons don't indwell within truly saved ppl. We are sealed with the Holy Spirit. Who is greater. We are not slaves to the flesh. We have authority through Christ to crucify the flesh. Alot of times ppl need to resist themselves and their sinful desires. Everything is not a demon. Either you're truly free or you're not. What Jesus did on the cross was enough. What demons do is attack. Spiritual attacks are not the same as possession. We resist by putting on the full armor of Jesus, and faithfully stand firm in Christ's victory. Which we have because of Him. To me it just comes down to the individual's belief. Either you surrender to Christ become saved and set free, or u don't and live in self afflicted bondage to your flesh. We are to bring the lost to Christ, not bind Satan. We put on the armor to resist. Not fight against principalities. We are instructed to resist their attacks. We are not the angels. Christ defeats Satan. We are set free. We walk in victory. The blood of Jesus was sufficient enough. My faith is in the Word. Not myself or man.
And Jesus cast out demons as a sign for unbelievers to believe. He didn't cast out demons from believers. They were unbelievers, who were not indwelt with the Holy Spirit, but became believers after. The Holy Spirit didn't dwell within believers until after His resurrection. Whom scriptures say He sent. How anyone believes otherwise is more about leaning unto their own understanding rather than believing the Word, as it is written. Who's the only One who has the power to do all of this? Is it not Christ? Does His Spirit not possess the power to set a new believer in Christ free? Is this not accepted by faith. If you have to go through multiple deliverances, then the problem is not a demon, it's that individual. The sinful nature never leaves. It's only denied. Giving into it deliberately means you never truly surrendered your will to Christ. It's a discipline issue. Not a demonic issue. That's why ppl cannot change. Because it's easier to blame a demon, than to take responsibility for sinning. Either surrender and deny yourself or stop calling yourself a Christian, because you're obviously not ready to be set apart from the world.

I agree ! A Christian can open a door to allow demons to enter their flesh by watching horror and X rated movies looking at Playboy, husler magazines . Through music. Bible says becarful what you listen to and put before your eyes.

I completely agree with Dawn that it can be called "charismatic legalism". In this movement, there is always another demon to cast out, always another generational curse to break. I did not realize this kind of teaching was so oppressive until after God set me free from this movement.

Deliverance replaces sanctification from the Word, is what they seem to be teaching! This could indeed be a doctrine of demons. What else could it be?
