When I was a little girl I was afraid I was possessed by a demon and I went to my Dad with my concerns. My Dad opened the Bible to 2 Corinthians 6:15. He then pointed at my heart and said "Jesus doesn't let demons stay in HIS house".

I experienced attacks .. but when I stopped the ritual prayer and left the teachings alone and stood on the word of God I was delivered from nighttime attacks . Those false teachings actually attracted the attacks in my life and the attacks would get worse and that’s when I started to look at the teachings as wrong. I’m glad you exposed this .

When I saw this video I got excited!! But as someone who was heavily into the deliverance ministries I once believed this doctrine and I realized I didn’t have a “spiritual spouse” problem it’s just easier to blame misfortunes on that instead of just accepting I was disobedient to God and needed to get right!

I want to say that I recently rededicated my life to Christ about two months ago. When I first did it my mentor and I fasted for three days to bring it to the Lord. The third day she asked me to come to her house for deliverance. I had no clue what she meant by that or what would happen. I wasn’t expecting this to happen at all. But during the time there we were worshipping and praying. For whatever reason I couldn’t get myself to do it. She started to pray and my body like shut down. I ended up having no control over myself. At one point I was roaring and I was on my back, kicking my legs and my upper body jolted up. I remember hearing my mentor say “oh jezabel” and my mentor was rebuking that spirit in Jesus name. I remember coming out of my mouth saying “no no no….. I need her I need her” and my mentor was saying “no she belongs to Christ, she is gave herself to Christ” this was about a four hour process and I thought we were there for only half an hour. After that the words “fear and doubt” were in my mind. As that deliverance was happening again out of my mouth was “God failed her one too many times”
( A little background) I would consider myself (before this) to be promiscuous. I used to like attention from men, I was sexually active and I always thought that was just who I am. I also had a bf that I was with for two and a half years. The Lord showed me I made my ex my idol. I was afraid to be alone and afraid I wouldn’t make it in life without my boyfriend so I heavily relied on him for a lot. But since that day of deliverance. I do not crave nor want any man’s attention nor have sex with anyone. And I do not fear for my future and I have my faith and trust in the Lord.

Whenever the focus is any part of the Bible rather than Jesus of the Bible, the church loses its purpose. Deliverance IS a part of the gospel but it should NEVER be the focus of the gospel. Same with prosperity, same with prophecy, same with holiness; same with tongues, all are elements but JESUS is the point. Whenever the point becomes anything but Jesus false doctrine creeps in.

If you had or continue to experience any sexual intercourse with a demonic or in a dream, please get a pastor to pray for you and get delivered. Such bonds with those demons are dangerous. I'm a living testimony. After fasting and prayer, it stopped, and my life changed for the good

I recently was almost deceived by the deliverance doctrine, It created so much turmoil within me… I prayed and started to read scriptures that affirms we can’t be believers and have the Holy Spirit in us while also being demon possessed. Jesus did the deliverance for us with His death and resurrection. HE SAID, “IT IS FINISHED”. 🙌🏾

I don't know about this whole spiritual spouse or how deliverance ministries are using these terms but I will share that demonic attacks are real as I experienced that at a time in my life where I was in the world and the demonic attacks were perverted and it occured with sleep paralysis. I also personally knew a guy when I was in the military that would go back to his barracks and lay there because a demon would come and give him pleasure. He did this until he realized his son was experiencing the same thing. So with that said, I feel where you are coming from with this video but to completely disregard those spiritual attacks is foolishness. The quote " Don't throw the baby out with the bath water" applies here.

Oh boy... how I wish the body of Christ could be united. Call them by whatever name but these demons that defile people by night are real. Here in my part of the world most people that frequently experience this either have trouble getting married or their marriage will be without or less intimacy. Some women even fail to conceive.
I'm in Africa. Please pray for insight other than fighting ministries.

As someone who's experienced this I disagree with your teaching and find it to be condescending. This teaching will keep ppl more bound. How can you get free from a bondage you deny exists. Intellectualizing spiritual matters.

These things are real brother Allen. Plenty of people experience those kind of dreams unfortunately. In countries such as Haiti (where I am from), and other countries in Africa, it is very frequent. It has been happening for many generations as there are several stories that I've heard, and people who are delivered from these bondages testify that they never have those dreams again.

Please do some research on that matter. God Bless 🙏🏾

Many in the church avoid personal accountability by making their issues an external "spiritual" issue so that they always have "someone" to blame. Our battle is taming our flesh to mold to the will of Jesus Christ, not creating false mythical creatures to deflect their own discipline issues. Never heard of this until today, sad there are Christians who fall for this!

I feel the passion in this video. I love this, as I know how hard it is to not get angered by false teachers but to correct them lovingly. And you did better than I would. It really is a fear tactic, but it also shows the lack of time many believers spend in the Word.

Unfortunately I use to believe this stuff too when I was into that deliverance stuff as well. I believed in Succubus. Many of these false deliverance ministers will say this is why you can’t keep a relationship as well. Because succubus has you all to herself! It’s really sad. Thanks Allen for exposing this lie.
