CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Doug (Michael Keaton) bribes #4 (Michael Keaton) for information on his wife with some Coca-Cola.

FILM DESCRIPTION:
In this zany comedy, Michael Keaton is Doug Kinney, a man with too many tasks and not enough time to complete them. When he feels too much pressure, his temper explodes with disastrous results. So when researcher Dr. Owen Leeds (Harris Yulin) offers him a somewhat unusual remedy for his problem, he gives it a try. Soon, a fully grown clone of Doug is delivered, complete with his memories up to the time of its "birth." Being in two places at once offers some advantages, but problems arise when Doug #2 can't handle the stress of overwork any better than the original. Perhaps Doug #2 could benefit from having his own helper. Versions of Doug multiply, each of them emphasizing some facet of his character, and complications multiply. For instance, having more of him around doesn't make life simpler for Doug's wife Laura (Andie MacDowell).

True story: back when I was a Sergeant in the Marine Corps, I use to always say to one of my Marines “did you bring me a monkey?” Until one day he brought me a stuffed Curious George. I learned never to use movie quotes like that to my subordinate Marines.

And before anyone asks, yes I do still have the monkey.

I happened to catch this movie while on vacation. It just reminded me so much of the time when things were simple. I graduated HS in 96’ it was b4 the internet took off & also b4 Cell phones became the norm. We had them, but they were more in case of ER or something along those lines. I also spent some time in Southern CA during this exact same time.
