These were 27 gns (£28.35) in 1962. Up to 4" spools with the lid on & 5" spools without the lid. Four track as you found out. That's just over £500 in today's money.

Just bought one myself for 20 quid
Sadly it powers up and nothing much else - but like yours Andy it's in good nick and this also has its perspex top cover
