I tried to make a new world and didn't save my old one that I've been playing on for 2 or 3 years and lost it all

My world reset. I left my game to save it and when I pressed manage save data it said “Your current slot:empty” And I saved my world so I pressed restore on my data so my game would go back the my game that reset but I forgot to delete current and it made me empty world save in my old back up save

Local backups will u get to keep ur stuff amber and progress if u delete current save
