Ark Survival Evolved:
As a man or woman stranded naked, freezing and starving on the shores of a mysterious island called ARK, you must hunt, harvest resources, craft items, grow crops, research technologies, and build shelters to withstand the elements. Dinosaurs, Creatures, & Breeding! -- over 100+ creatures can be tamed using a challenging capture-&-affinity process, involving weakening a feral creature to knock it unconscious, and then nursing it back to health with appropriate food. Once tamed, you can issue commands to your tames, which it may follow depending on how well you’ve tamed and trained it. Tames, which can continue to level-up and consume food, can also carry Inventory and Equipment such as Armor, carry prey back to your settlement depending on their strength, and larger tames can be ridden and directly controlled! Fly a Pterodactyl over the snow-capped mountains, lift allies over enemy walls, race through the jungle with a pack of Raptors, tromp through an enemy base along a gigantic brontosaurus, or chase down prey on the back of a raging T-Rex! Take part in a dynamic ecosystem life-cycle with its own predator & prey hierarchies, where you are just one creature among many species struggling for dominance and survival. Tames can also be mated with the opposite gender, to selectively breed successive generations using a trait system based on recombinant genetic inheritance. This process includes both egg-based incubation and mammalian gestation lifecycles! Or put more simply, raise babies!

I just want to further explain how to get the mutation easier since that isn’t really the most explained.

1. So for the first pair of dinos it’s sometimes a hit or miss for the stats so you want to breed those until you get a male and female that both have the same desired stats.

2. You then want to breed those and save all of the females since they will have the same stats as the breeder pair.

3. Breed the male with the ># of females to heighten chances. So instead of having a 2.5 percent chance for a mutation, you instead have 30 2.5% chances since you have (in this case) 30 females.

As an example:
I had 2 manas, one with 7400 health, 1500 stam, 296 melee, and one with 6200 health, 1300 stam, and 384 melee. Now I bred these until I got two opposite gender babies that had 7400hp, 1500 stam, and 384 melee. I then bred those and all the babies had the same stats, all the females were kept and rebred so that I was breeding 15 at a time and would almost always get a mutation.

Update Simplified(For Stats)

Step 1) Tame a bunch of Dino’s and pick the ones with highest stats, then breed them to get all the high stats that you want. Then once you get one with it, breed it with it’s mother/father until you get it’s child with the opposite gender, and it has the same level and same stats.

Step 2.) Breed those 2 high stats to make around 5-10 females for one male, then just breed them up until you get your first mutation that you want. When you get your first stat that you want look at it’s gender.

Step 2.5) If that mutation is female breed it with the male to try to get the same mutation on a male.

Step 3.)Once you get a mutated male replace the Base Male(Your 0/0 male) with the male mutation that you want. Now your mutated male is breeding with around 5-10 females, do it until you get another mutation of the same stat.

If it is female then repeat step 2.5, breeding that female with your Base Male, if it male repeat step 3, do this until you get that stat to a level you feel comfortable with, wether it be Melee 20/20 or 5/20. Then put the base male back in with the Base Females(0/0 females) and get a new stat, like Health.

Step 4) Get the final stats that you want, for example 1 Rex 20/20 Melee, 1 Rex 20/20 Health, then make sure they are opposite genders, if they are not do step 2.5, if they are both female breed 1 with base male to get it to 20/20 male. If they are both male, put one in the Base Female got up to get a 20/20 female. Then breed the 20/20 Male with the 20/20 Female, you should have 20/20 on one side and 20/20 on the other side, then you will have the Melee 20/20 and the Health 20/20. Try to get a so you can put it in the Base Female group and get an army with them, getting as many as you need.

im on unofficial woth s+ pc and i do like this:
1: find dinos with high stats, preferable minimum one male one female.
2. breed them together until you got one male and one female with the perfect stats
3. breed those together until you hatch twins or triplets with different genders
4: breed those together and gather about 10 females for you male dino
5: put the females all in a circle around the male and leave a gap open to take out the male
6: now breed until you get the desired mutations. i find breeding twins (same lvl dinos) easier cuz if you get a mutation itll always be +2 lvl. i.e. if your mainbreeders are lv250 the mutated ones will be 252.
7: got the desired mutation (has to be male in my case, i use s+ mutator to change gender lol) and replace the old male with the new mutated one, always keep the original females to breed the new male with)
8: repeat until u got mutations.


might be a bit complicated and maybe unneccesairy to wait for twins but i have high breeding rates on my server and i find it easier to just breed two identical animals since its easier to see the mutations. so might not be as efficient on official.

For those who don't understand.

1) Tame a WILD male and WILD female rex. [Do not level their stats up. If you have to, make folders and type their original stats down. Ex: HEALTH 1180, ATK 460 ]

2) Breed a son and a daughter with the same stats as their mother and father [ ORIGINAL WILD REXES ]

AFTER THIS STEP FORGET THE FACT YOUR TAMED WILD REXES EXIST. THEY DONT ANYMORE. THEYRE USELESS. Use it to defend youe base or somethin.

3) Breed until you have a mutated stat female rex.

4) Breed the NEW MUTATED REXIE with the SON/mutated rex's father. [ FUCK YOUR DINOS YOU TAMED. IT DOESNT EXIST ANYMORE. Anyways, breed only for female stat dinos. Do so because your male rex can breed with as many female rex possible. Which will give you a lot more egg productions. Also your parental mutation points wont stack too high too fast. Your limit is 20. ]

5) Keep breeding until you have another mutated female rexie, and breed it back to their father. Rinse and repeat.

You can't get torpidity mutations. It just increases per level, so your Lv291 has 12 points more torpidity than the lv279.
