buckwheat and pear pancakes

1 pear, grated
2 eggs
8 oz buckwheat flour
1 heaped tsp of baking powder
1 oz sugar
1 handful of buckwheat flakes
300 ml milk

stir the flour, baking powder and sugar together then add the eggs and milk before beating together until you reach a thick consistency and all of the flour is combined. Then mix in the grated pear and a handful of buckwheat flakes. Oil a large frying pan (or hot plate) and cook the pancakes! Flipping each over once they are speckled with bubbles on one side. These are delicious hot-buttered with raspberry jam…. or drizzled with honey/maple syrup!
