It disturbs me that many people are more concerned about the shape of the selenite than the lungs of the man carving it. The working conditions here are horrible. That man needs a work table and a respirator. Not a car seat on the ground.

Do not cut them! they will sell better in their natural form. Collectors want the rocks they way they are. They do not want them cut. They do not want them turned into objects. The selenite is beautiful the way it is. Every time I see these pre-cut in the stores, I want to cry. Please stop destroying the specimens. They do not need to be cut!
