Welcome back to the Rock of the Week!

Today we will be looking at Gypsum - more specifically selenite - a soft, white mineral that forms all kinds of unique crystals.

It's been months since I last made one of these, but this time I've recorded a few in advance so I'll be able to release them a lot closer to weekly.

Fantastic presentation, I am a gypsum collector in Australia where I used to harvest plenty of nice specimens. I still have a good collection.
Of course in the fire scenario I will go for the gypsum.
Now I must find your other talks.

wood > drywall. I'd rather wood collapse on me in a house fire rather than stone 😃
