I am thankful Sarah has an attorney and I hope he is good. That way when she is convicted, as I believe she will be, she can’t cry that the trial was unfair. It’s paradoxical, but I believe Sarah having a good lawyer will be greater justice for Jorge.

NOBODY deserves what he went through and I want to finally see justice for him and his family, and all our local neighbors who are following this!

I am glad she is represented by a lawyer. Especially an experienced one taking the case on his own.

This addresses many appellet concerns and having one trial seems cheaper then two, even if there is a continuance.

I don't think there is a question about her being convicted, the question is with what and how long.

I want her to be trated how I would want myself to be treated if I was accused, even if I didn't harm anyone and she did. Because the system should not make a difference based on how guilty someone appears before conviction.
So all in all, I am pleased with this, it gave me a peace of mind. Jorge's family deserves an unquestionable resolution to the trial. It should be about the victim, not about her whining about pro se.

I am shook! I really didn’t think that a lawyer would voluntarily take her case pro bono after she went through so many attorneys and the fact that her trial is supposed to begin at the beginning of October. Thank you Peter for continuing to discuss this case with all of us. 💞
