SWITCHING From Android to iPhone 4 Years Later! Do I REGRET It?

I switched to iPhone from Android almost 4 years ago now, having ups and downs in the process, including a brief stint where I switched back to Android, however, all the time later, do I regret switching my daily driver phone from Android to iPhone? And am I going back?

QOTD: Are you on iPhone or Android, and why?

This year is the 10th anniversary of my switch from Android to iPhone. And before Android, I used Windows Mobile 6 for years (yes I'm old lol). Never looked back on Android. Pixel line is tempting, but I just love using iOS, macOS and watchOS so I don't want to break this ecosystem.

I switched over 2 years ago after having Android phones for almost a decade. I'm sure Android now is pretty good, but IOS has a very refined experience that's hard to beat!

I’ve been an Android user since 2010 but it’s never really worked how I want it to, so I switched between Android and Windows Phone several times and have owned loads of Android phones. In the last 2-3 years I’ve been trying iPhones out and I now prefer them and can’t imagine going back to Android.

Cool video as usual... nice to see stories like these on why someone switched and the pros and cons on both platforms...
Same here mate... went from the Galaxy S8 to the Xs Max back in 2018 when the S8 GPS stopped working...
Never looked back since... just loved the reliability of it
Have been an android guy before that... won't rule out going back to android in the future... but not for now

I’ve switched to iphones a little bit more than 5 years ago. I bought the iphone X, coming from a Galaxy S5. It started to get laggy and one fine day, the screen literally died. The phone had bearly been 3.5 years in usage. After that I promised myself never to get a samsung ever again, even if it came with all bells and whistles. From that day on I remained hooked on iphones and have recently upgraded to an iphone 13 pro. I don’t regret my choice, however, the pixels do seem tempting.

Switched to iphone 13 for the first time ever after using android only. Never thought i would switch honestly. I went to buy pixel 7 and ended up with iphone because i thought it would be nice to have a change and resell value is gonna be alright especially if i end up hating it. I own it for 4 months now and honestly i do not understand what is all the hassle about. My 250€ 3 yo xiaomi note 9 pro works the same way the iphone 13 does. I am not in the apple ecosystem so for me this does not play a significant role. Some things in iOS annoy me so much because android is just more intuitive and simple to use. Things are more fluid on iOS though but again this was a 750€ phone. Cameras are fine, but comparing it to xiaomi, iphones cameras are way too white and pictures tend not to look realistic but they are social media ready. Other than that, i genuinely have nothing else to say, android came a long way and iOS is pretty much where it always has been - reliable. I am still waiting for a video where you will talk ab styling your hair tho.

I use… both haha. But my main is definitely my iPhone 13 Mini. I just love the size, and apple products work reliably and integrate well with each other. Maybe if I can get a compact Xperia, or the ASUS Phone 9, I might just consider switching my main to Android. The beeper app has also been crucial, allowing me to get my iMessages on Android.

If and only if iPhone 14 actually comes with 120Hz display and tri-camera system, otherwise it just looks like technology from few years ago.

Could you imagine opponent Samsung Galaxy s23 offered all of those features at the same price point?

I am on Android now with a Pixel 6. I use the nest mini and a pixel watch. I got the watch for a wedding anniversary gift. The pixel watch is the reason I finally went full Android again from Iphone. I have had bad experiences getting used iphone so I usually get one for an upgrade from my carrier. I live in America and pay my phone in installments for 2 years. I just wanted to know the name of the song that plays at the end of your videos?

I used to be an android user until the iPhone x came out and that made me switch to IOS for a while. I recently got back to android because I wanted to try foldable too bad and so far I'm not complaining. I find that android has changed a lot since I switched and is more mature than it was at the time.

Im being using android since my first phone 10 years ago and I am really happy with it. I hate apple and its practises and how it treats its costumers, how the iphone its too expensive, but man, they are gorgeus and i would like to try my next two year stint to be on and iphone and see if i can come back.

iphone for a bloat free, long support and consistent experience. And integration with my other Apple devices. The whole is greater than the sum.

I use both iPhone and android (yes I have 2 phones)
But the iPhone is my main phone due to the 14 pro max just being plain better than any other phone I’ve tried

Before my first iPhone 4S, I was using a Nokia. I’ve never had an Android phone. Right up until I bought that 4S I was pondering and deliberating over which platform to go with, because I didn’t really want to switch afterwards. I like Android every time I try it, but I still just like iOS more 🤷‍♂️
