Good question Darby! The change is just delta T, so we just need a difference in temperature (almost like taking the absolute value). As far as positive/negative goes, a positive answer indicates an endothermic reaction (temperature decreases) while a negative answer indicates an exothermic reaction (temperature increases). Think of it more like a directional sign indicating whether heat left the system (solution) or entered the system, not so much as a "positive" or "negative" answer.

For the enthalpy change question: I'm confused as to why you had the temperature change as positive. Shouldn't it be -4.8? Wouldn't this change the final answer to -46kJ?
