A lot of Americans are using the eclipse to fearmonger. Saying it’s the “coming of Jesus” or an impending blackout. NASA even told us to “stock up on necessities and communicate a meet-up plan with loved ones” just in case things go dark. There’s so much fear and darkness about the eclipse.

I woke up this morning knowing that there was something beautiful, auspicious, and holy about the eclipse underneath all of the communal noise. I don’t think you “read into it too deep” at all. This was a beautiful translation! Thank you so much.
