I work in an academic medical center and teach medical students as well as residents. In addition to my job as a doctor, I am passionate about healthcare innovation. I started a company @healfast which makes products for surgery recovery.

Dr. Myro, I have a question, I need to remove a dental implant in the near future, and I would like it to be done under the general anethtesia. My two biggest fears are to either die during the procedure or feel everything and not being able to do anything about it. Is it possible to know whether there is a risk in my particular case to die bc of the anesthesia or feel all the pain while I am asleep?
