The 5x5 pocket clip i feel is a must for any Jimbo Jumbo. The Jumbo i dont use a Pickpocket. Yo2 n PM2 have one. Been getting into One Asterick a lot lately also. Their Thorn is pretty great on the PM3.
Your orange kydex ripple/wave is one of the better kydex auto openers ive seen. Very cool.
Im going to do a skinny n a right handed hole access reduction on 2 sets of black Yo2 scales n put them on ebay in the next few days if anyone reads this n would want them.

Not the biggest fans of Spyderco ( yes that garnered a lot of discussion when i announced it on our channel 😂) but the quality is undeniable as well as the materials. Its just the looks dont do it for me. Good video man.

I just ordered the murdered out Yojumbo in all black, which will be my 2nd Spyderco. The PM3 Cruwear w/smooth g-10 being my first. I've also got the PM2 tanto version on the way as well. The pocket catch really caught my eye though. But with the perfect thumb ramp that comes into play for Michael's design is almost a slap in the face by adding the catch. It may give you a split second more opening time? But with the massive size of the Yojumbo and the super grippy g-10 with the Spidey hole, I think that I'll be fine. But I honestly like the look of it on this Yojimbo. I've got the Shaman and the Manix2 in my sights next! Great video! Thanks for posting.

The 5x5 pickpocket is better on every other knife except for the Yojimbo 2. I have the Michael Janich 5x5 exclusive custom, the Yurco 5x5 exclusive, a tricked out Endela with wave and deep carry attachment, and a Police with just a pickpocet. I love them all and rotate them really based on where I'm traveling to and for different events. I think the Yojimbo being such a specialized knife design, it really doesn't need anything added.

If you ever get the finish wear and design worked out on those kydex waves I wouldn't mind hearing about it. Sounds like a great solution. The appeal of not having a metal wave add on to rip my pocket up is real.

Will pass on the Wave on ANY Spyderco. The whole purpose of purchasing a Syderco is to eliminate the thumb stud getting in the way of whatever you may be cutting. And $185 for something that looks as ugly as the Yojimbo, no thank you.

I've had the same knife for years. That's a stupid, worthless attachment. Michael Janich was probably shaking his head when his saw this goofy add on. It's a defensive knife meant to be held w a Filipino grip. I carry it sometimes but mostly the Ronin 2 w custom thick g10 scales. Go back to your Gerbers.
