A couple interesting concepts that can influence this stuff are ones you can borrow from physics.

There are two concepts that are central to modern understanding of physics:
1 - No one point-of-view or perspective is any more valid, special or important than any other. Your perspective is just as valid as mine, just as valid as the guy's across the street, just as valid as the guy in a spaceship flying by the planet at half the speed of light.
2 - The laws of physics should be consistent across all perspectives. If you and I, or that guy across the street, or that guy in the spaceship, know the laws of physics, we should be able to observe the world around us and make predictions based upon those laws, and all come up with the same answers.

I enjoy watching your videos. This question is outside the bounds of what you usually do. You usually talk about the philosophy of different people's philosophies. I wanted to ask you: how the almost certain discovery of Atlantis in Mauritania, Africa could affect history and religion in the mainstream? Plato attached a cosmology and religious theory after his Atlantis story (or history) in the Timaeus.
According to geology, geography and geometry, and after looking at George Alexander's theory and rereading "Critias" by Plato, I'm convinced that Atlantis was a real place (and the exact place that Plato described in Critias and Timaeus) existing sometime around 9600 BC.
This possible discovery also gives Athens a history that goes back to 9600 BC and Egypt a history that goes back to 8600 BC, if the Atlantis theory by George Alexander is true. I enjoy watching your channel and always learn something.
Most Atlantis theories are a bunch of hokey nonsense or they just have too many inaccuracies. I don't believe in UFOs, nor do I believe in any literal interpretation of the Bible or Koran. After looking at all the data that I can from a computer, I believe that Atlantis was a real place in accordance to George Alexander's theory about Plato's Critias Atlantis story.

Do you think David Ross's critique of Ideal Utilitarianism in The Right and the Good works?

Consequentialism requires subjective morality- that in itself is enough to destroy this foolish theory.
