This is my most favourite Vangelis track ever! Perfect from second 1 to the end! Vangelis did not make music. He WAS music. A gift not many people receive. RIP to the grand master of universal music.

I was 5 years old and My tears were flooding my face on this song and " alpha", looking upon stars on the sky and knowing my home is somewhere up there. Vangelis was playing on radio. Vangelis an Grand Master in echoing in our ears the most fine sounds and vibrations of our souls. He was gifted to hold up the bridge between us and Universe, back and forth with his music.

Für mich war und ist Vangelis ein begnadeter Künstler und Komponist gewesen. Und 1492 war vermutlich ein wenn nicht sein Meisterwerk. Auch und gerade wenn Antartica auch in meinen Augen ein weiteres Meisterwerk war und ist. Und für mich sind das gerade einmal 2 Highlights aus seinem Schaffenwerks! RIP Vangelis! MAGNIFIQUE . MERCI, mais que c'est dur à regarder, avec en plus une des ses musiques qui nous touche énormément : l'émotion est totale, puissante, et ajoute à notre tristesse . 56 ans à 'écouter Vangelis, ( 1966 date de la création des Aphrodite's Child à son initiative, ou il montrait déjà qu'il serait un compositeur et un immense musicien ) oui 56 ans à le cotoyer , l'admirer, ressentir, vivre s'approprier tout ce qu'il composait , rêver . Ces musiques, chansons faisaient partie de nos vies, de nos joies mais aussi de nos peines...VANGELIS était devenu presque un "ami " un "intime." Combien il va nous manquer même si nous pourrons toujours l'écouter, le regarder au travers ses musiques, vidéos ... il y aura néanmoins un grand vide ...IL était avec Jean Ferrat mon artiste préféré et je l'admirerai toujours et il serat toujours à mes côtés de la vie ..Mon grand regret : ne l'avoir jamais vu en vrai ....😥😢
