The Japanese announcers make it sound epic like a finishing move in a SNK arcade game.

Everytime I see a 90's joshi on this list I know we're about to see something impossibly intricate and/or unbelievably dangerous. 😅😬

In Japan, there is no such thing as a botch, just give it a cooler name and make sure it has something to do with heat or fire 🤣

The Great Muta was the first one I ever saw do the Cattle Mutilation. I believe it happened during one of the matches on the 1989 Starrcade.

Any finisher that ends in a pin has always made my day. Fishermans suplex is a great example.

Dynamite Kid and Tiger Mask had some Epic Classic matches. The F5 always looked like a reverse TKO to me

Pretty sure Bob Orton came up with the superplex

Fun fact: Harley face regrets inventing the diving headbutt

On the Curb Stomp I like Seth Rollins version better simply because he now sets up when you're getting up aka on all fours. To me that's more realistic than being bent over waiting for the attacker to stomp you, just my two cents.

0:01 Wait...was Dynamite Kid? Thought Cowboy Bob Orton was the innovator of the Superplex.

Some of the moves featured are surprising to learn about cause some of them are known by other names such as gringo killer was first known as the kudomo special

I thought Scott Steiner was the first to do the 450?

finally got to see Marufuji do the curb stomp thanks to this video. I remember Seth Rollins saying years ago he got it from Marufuji because Marufuji did it to him.

@ 2:12 is that Tajiri? Kind of looks like style of pants he would wear

Marafuji is a legend. His match with okada is underrated really but i can honestly say its as good as okada and kenny.

Didn't Masato Yoshino invent the Slingblade or at least popularise it before Tanahashi

That kick out against Race has the one thing modern wrestling is missing. Someone "trying" to kick out of a finisher but failing. With how often we see "finisher" quality moves all the time and people kick out, when the actual go home happens some people would come off much stronger if they seemed to have fight left, but just couldn't muster the strength. It would make rematches seem more needed and not just a thing to do, it would carry feuds that little extra bit along the path. Call me old, but a failed kick out told a lot about a wrestler in the match of their life story

I can guarantee you that the reason why Harley Race looks drunk dropping that headbutt is because he WAS drunk... Lol
