There are moments of their “honesty”. It doesn’t matter that they “open up” like that. There are no consequences, behind closed doors. They’re not going to tell anyone that can help you, help them. It’s sick.

Yeah, I look back on things the narcissists have said and they do literally have those moments of truth and we just don't listen. We just do not listen. Instead, we try to read into it and go all around it.

That is some fraggle naggle BS/. Challenge him on it. I will say most therapists including (me) have not look to treating a narcissist nor would we diagnose, plant to treat or experct anyithing out of them. ook for Narcissists in my practice as they generally will say they agree to go but never go. They only say that will go but never show up. They will play the you do I'll do it game for months. Also they will wait until an argument to even bring it up again and when they do they will say "I told you to do it." Ironically if you get him to go to therapy he is ONLY going so the therapist can tell you about how all the marital issues are on you. If they tell him anything. "that ain't no good therapist. she was siding with you. I am not going back/.
