I’ll explain the situation to you as I live here. Contraband is a real thing, Serbs and Albanians work together, including police and politicians. 8 Albanians were arrested and 2 Serbs.
The licence plate thing is just petty by both sides but same rules have to apply.
The thugs for hire in the north of Kosovo just like to cause trouble and most don’t live there they just come for these sort of these situations. Serbian kosovans that actually live here want to get along live together and work together, but Serbian politics refuse to allow that to happen.

Bro the reason Kosovo government sents Special forces in North is that Crime in that place is so much bigger than you think, they made illegall paralel structures. So much illegall things happens in that region bc Kosovo doesnt have full power there.

Do not forget pristina has to form the serbian communities in north and some in south (alltogether 10) like in the agrement signed in brussels since 2013 and they dont havent form it since 2013 and the EU is still quit! So this problems cant be solved so easy without that! In the agrement is also agreed that no kosovo military can enter the north with no consent of the mayor and they just drive in many times in the north they also shoot in a crowd of protesters and hit a man in the back and the EU is still quit!

Licence plates have country symbols on them, like flag and coat of arms, you can't enter central Serbia via provincial boundary with those symbols.
Why?Because Serbia has not recognized Kosovo as an independent country.

Love you my guy but I have zero tolerance for nationalistic Albanians so it is what it is and if they wont back down neither will we and we will remain in this loop for a thousand years if that's what it takes.
