*Kosovo wants to ban Serbian number plates with Serbian abbreviation, as *Kosovo authority uses numbers, and Serbia uses letter for regions:

KS/SRB plates
01/PR - Priština
02/KM - Kosovska Mitrovica (old TM - Titova Mitrovica)
03/PE - Peć
04/PZ - Prizren
05/UR - Uroševac
06/GL - Gnjilane
07/ĐA - Đakovica (old DJ - Djakovica)
For me, best solution is to have one set of non overlaping plates starting with odd, other with even numbers (let say KS 01-100-AA, and SRB PR-200-AA). When changing authority, just put sticker on with geographic region and proceed as normal.
